Dinner with the girls

Every few months my friend Shauna comes into town from Salt Lake. When she does she'll call me and we set a date for a date. Then...I start calling our friends. All I say is "Shauna is in town". They reply "Oh, what day and time". It's kind of like setting up a drug deal. We always go to dinner at Charlestons and always have a great time. This time I decided to take pictures of those that came (it varies). On a sad note, one of the reasons I wanted to blog this event was because we have lost a dear friend since the last dinner, Elaine Keber. We thought of her and missed her during our time together. Friends are hard to find, good friends even harder. These wonderful women I am privileged to call my good friends. I love them all!Denise, Pat, Betty and Caprice

Gifts from the HEART

Here are a couple of Christmas gifts we received that now grace the walls of our home. I love gifts from the heart and that is what both of these are.Natalie made this mirror with the cool A on it for Allen of course! It hangs in the living room right by the front door. Now I can check my hair when I leave the house. It looks great.

Dana made this changeable connected hanging snapshot display frame. I can just change the photos when the mood strikes. The magnets have fun sayings like SASSY (on Anna), PRECIOUS, MY ANGEL and SECRETS. It will be fun to update these as new pictures arrive.

Back in the saddle again!

Confession: I have sinned....It has been 23 days since my last posting. In my behalf, the cord that hooks from the computer to the camera was misplaced. I have been frantically trying to hook up the wrong cord thinking I just couldn't get it right. Then...tonight, finally. I call Natalie, "Did you take my cord?", "No", well then it must have been Dana. I call Dana, "Did you take my cord?", "Well, maybe, I probably did" then....I come back in the family room and there it is on my camera! Yes, it was Tyler (I had already asked him earlier), he found it in his room. So I am on a roll again. I will try to do better.
