I am not a pie maker, never have and probably never will. With that said, I did experiment this Thanksgiving. I tried out 2 different crust recipes and found one I liked, the other was icky! The lemon meringue pie was divine, which is good because it is Richard's fav. The pumpkin had the icky crust and the recipe for the pumpkin was less than stellar. I will search on. You have to admit though, they do look good. YUM!
